Fort Lauderdale Shopping One of the greatest attractions for tourists coming to the Greater Fort Lauderdale area is the amazing shopping the area offers. Whether you are young or old, male of female, well off or on a bargain vacation, the shopping in Fort Lauderdale is unlike anything else you will find in south Florida.
Perhaps the greatest of those in the area, are the hundreds of shops that line the gas-lighted streets of the fabled Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Las Olas Boulevard is known world wide as a shopper's paradise, with hundreds of unique shops, fabulous dining, unforgettable entertainment, and superb services. Its picturesque landscaping and old-world styling make wandering the streets a pleasure in itself. This veritable wonderland of artistic lighting units is unlike anything else you will have seen before. It is filled with hundreds of amazingly beautiful and sometime emotionally touching lamps, sconces, chandeliers, and other lighting artifacts that are sure to strike a chord with even the meticulous of shoppers. Further down the boulevard is the Minds Eye Gallery. This one-of-a-kind gallery offers originals from some of the great masters, but also presents it in a fun way.
 With over thirty years in the art business, the gallery provides certificates of authenticity and full disclosure on all the pieces they have. Artists featured here include Picasso, Chagall, Dali, Pisarro, Rockwell, Warhol, and Neiman. The old masters are also represented with the likes of Rembrandt and Renoir. Even celebrity artist are given their due here. For a wide variety of artwork for the home, the office, or to enhance a private collection, Objets d'Art is a wonderful place to visit. Items that can be found here include porcelain figures, glass baubles, and ceramic animals, just to name a few.
